Headset RadiationConventional Headsets use wire to deliver sound to the earpiece and may also deliver electromagnetic radiation directly to your head into your ear
RF Safe HeadsetQuantaBuds Air-tube headset delivers crystal clear sound through an air-filled wireless tube, which reduces the possibility of hazardous RF radiation exposure

A study was done by Stephen Wall, Ph.D., and Zhong-Min Wang, Ph.D.; Thomas Kendig, BS; Dina Dobraca, MPH; and Michael Lipsett, JD, MD will be published in the peer-reviewed journal Environmental Research.

The researchers tested the radiation directly near the phone and at several distances from the phone, up to 18 inches (48 cm).  There is a common misperception that wired Smartphone headsets help to accommodate this safer distance.   There is a major two-fold problem with this assumption.

Radiation travels through the copper wire connecting the phone and earpiece and penetrates the head directly through the ear canal. This has been proven to increase radiation exposure to the brain. QuantaBuds Air-tube Headsets counter this problem with acoustic air-chamber sound technology!

With phones attached to a belt, microwave radiation penetrates the area by the phone and is absorbed faster than the head because tissues and organs such as the liver, kidneys, and reproductive organs provide better conductivity than the skull and have no bone protection!  A QuantaCase™ or QuantaSleeve should always be a barrier between your body and the wireless device.

  • Phones operate at higher power levels and emit more microwave radiation when held lower than the head – more tower obstruction.
  • Radiation travels through the wire connecting the phone and earpiece and penetrates the head directly through the ear canal. Simply put, wired hands-free kits for cell phones do not protect your brain from radiation – on the contrary, they may channel three times the dose into the skull you receive by holding the phone next to your ear, according to the UK Consumers’ Association Which? magazine.

The QuantaBuds air tube headset incorporates some of the most durable electronic components on the market today. Sleek and sophisticated in design, the QuantaBuds Air Tube Headset is the new standard by which all new radiation-safe headsets will be measured.  Watch the below video and this youtube video using a diode meter too!

As cellular phone use peaks worldwide, so do concerns about the potential health effects of electromagnetic radiation. The QuantaBuds Air Tube  Headset was developed with these issues in mind!

Sophisticated, durable, comfortable, and, most important, RF SAFE!

QuantaBuds Headset Features:

  • Custom Molded – Lightweight Earpiece
  • QuantaBud’s lightweight air tube acoustic technology sound delivery
  • State-of-the-art sound chamber with enhanced acoustic technology
  • Available in single earbud (mono) and dual earbud (stereo) versions

The stylish QuantaBuds air tube headset is available in 2.5mm. 3.5mm, or USB-C plug for newer smartphones.   Whether a cell phone, smartphone, or cordless phone — QuantaBuds air-tube headsets are an effortless way to avoid cranial RF radiation exposure.

Better RF Safe Today…Than Sorry Tomorrow:

This HANDS-FREE headset with air tube technology is designed to keep potentially harmful radiation away from your head. By using an air tube to conduct the sound to your head, there are NO electrical components conducting sound to your head. Much like a Doctors stethoscope, only an air tube is used to conduct sound to the earpiece.

The acoustic sound chamber replaces electrical components.

The crisp, clean sound is delivered to your ear via the air-filled wireless tube from state-of-the-art speakers preventing microwave radiation exposure.

Function Key and Mic

Function Key and Mic – Allows for proper hands-free communication. If someone cannot hear you well, hold this closer to your mouth as you speak. After inputting the number, you wish to call, press the function key to dial the intended number (or use your phone’s dial button as usual). While a call is in session, pressing this key again will end the call.
